Church, I came to preach tonight on a truth that can shake your soul, change your life, and secure your eternity! It’s right here in Romans 10:9-13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” In other words; salvation is simple, powerful, and available to everybody! It starts in your heart with faith and bursts out your mouth in confession. First, let’s talk about confession. (Matthew 10:32) says, “Whosoever shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.” Glory! Confession isn’t just saying words; it’s declaring your allegiance to Jesus! It’s saying to the devil, “You may try, but I belong to Christ!”
(Luke 12:8) reminds us, “Whosoever shall confess me before men, the Son of man also will confess him before the angels of God.” That’s right; when you declare Jesus, the angels of God are cheering for you! But confession alone is not enough — it has to come from the heart with belief. (Romans 10:9) says, “ That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (John 3:16) tells us that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Heart-faith unlocks righteousness. (Acts 16:31) says, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” Hallelujah! Faith brings salvation for you and your household! And Church, listen closely; salvation is for all people!
(Romans 10:12) says, “For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.” (Galatians 3:28) says; “There is neither Jew nor Greek… for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.” It doesn’t matter where you come from, what you look like, or what you’ve done; God’s grace is for anyone that believes! And here’s the kicker: (Romans 10:13) repeats it for emphasis; “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Joel 2:32) and (Acts 2:21) echo this promise: “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered.” Church, there is power in calling His name! Power to break chains, power to heal, power to save your soul!
But notice; it’s not about works, it’s not about effort, it’s about faith. (Romans 3:28) says, “A man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.” (Ephesians 2:8–9) reminds us, “By grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.” Salvation is a gift, Church! And all you have to do is receive it by believing. So do you believe in your heart by faith that Jesus died? was placed in a tomb? Rose again from the dead on the third day, him being the resurrection and the life? Don’t hesitate! Don’t let fear hold you back! Jesus is ready to save you right now; right here if you're ready to repent and turn away from your sins and receive Jesus Christ into your heart to be your Lord and Savior! Hallelujah!
(Acts 4:12) proclaims; "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved... Glory to God!
